Understanding Tank Numbers

  • The first number listed is the nominal capacity in gallons.
  • The second, smaller number (if specified) is the height to the center of inlet from the bottom of the tank.
  • The letters specify type of tank, according to the following abbreviations:
S Single compartment tank
D Double compartment tank
DL Double compartment low-profil tank
MHT Monolithic holding tank
PC Pump chamber
DW Dry Well
DGT Double chamber grease trap
